I ♥ Macarons!

Hello everyone! :)

Lately I've been craving for some macarons, especially the pistachio ones and after feeling guilty for eating the whole package by myself (yes...by myself!) I decided to start satisfying my hunger with creativity so I made tiny macarons with polymer clay to turn them into stud earrings!

I love macarons! They're simply delicious :)
All of these lovely pieces are available in my Etsy shop following this link:

Cute Treats is back!

It's been a while since my last post! There's a lot of things in life we can't control... My shop was closed from November 2012 to February 2013 and I have to say that I missed working with my hands and letting my creativity flow. Throughout that time a lot happened in my life and I'm happy to say that I'm back :)

I moved from my beloved Puerto Rico leaving everything behind (by everything I mean my apartment in Old San Juan, my super job, my friends, family and my niece which I love like she was my own daughter :( - EVERYTHING!) to try something new with my fiance who also left everything behind. Life doesn't always go our way. You just have to be ready to live day by day. So here I am in Florida, very similar to PR but completely different. I love the weather, the people and most of all, the sunsets :)

This is a new era for Cute Treats; an adventure. I'm so happy to be back on track. Happy to be doing what I love. So here I leave you with some of my new pieces. Hope you enjoy and as always I would like to hear your feedback :)

My second art fair!

Recently I was part of an art fair in my hometown Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico with a lot of talented artisans. This is the second time I participate in an art fair and I have to say that the first time I wasn't prepared at all. I went with a white table top and my pieces! That's it! No decoration no nothing. I was starting out and I had no idea how to prepare my table to be attractive, so this time I was perfectly aware of that tiny detail. I am really satisfied with the way everything came out. People were surprised, excited and everybody was talking about my work! All my sacrifice is finally paying off!!

This is my place: Old San Juan Puerto Rico

This is my home Old San Juan, Puerto Rico. A place full history, lovely people and most of all Art. I love to live here, it is my inspiration everyday. Old San Juan is a little island which is connected by a bridge to the
rest of the island.

This is the view  when I walk out of my apartment♥

This is El Morro Fort is about five minutes walking

This is my place to relax to keep working with my jewelry. Every time I sit there I feel peace... I thank God  I'm so lucky to see this everyday...

This is my inspiration! What's yours?
